synapcoin.io has no user accounts and no advertising or analytics trackers. This page lists the data the site and API actually process, and who else receives it.

Data processed when you buy SYNAP
- Crypto order: the wallet address you enter for delivery, the SYNAP amount, its USD value, the cryptocurrency you chose, the order ID, the NOWPayments payment ID and status, and timestamps. These are stored in SynapCoin's order database to deliver the tokens and to handle support requests.
- Wallet (ETH) order: the connected wallet address, the SYNAP amount, and the hash of the ETH transaction you sent, stored for the same purposes.
- Delivery: the hash of the on-chain SYNAP transfer to your address is stored with the order and listed by the public transactions endpoint for that address.
Blockchain transactions are public and permanent on Base. Anyone can see transfers to and from a wallet address using a block explorer; SynapCoin cannot alter or delete on-chain data.
Data processed when you browse or use the API
- Balance and transaction lookups: the wallet address you query is used to read the public blockchain state and is not linked to you.
- Server logs and rate limiting: the API records the IP address of each request to enforce the rate limit (100 requests per minute per IP) and to diagnose failures.
- Wallet connection: when you connect a wallet, the wallet library stores the connection state in your browser's local storage. No cookie is set by this site for tracking purposes.
Third parties that receive data
- NOWPayments (crypto payment gateway): receives the USD amount, the chosen cryptocurrency, the order ID and an order description, and returns the deposit address and payment status. NOWPayments applies its own privacy policy to the payment you send it.
- CoinGecko: on the wallet tab, your browser fetches the ETH/USD price directly from api.coingecko.com, which sees your IP address.
- Base RPC nodes and WalletConnect / Reown: your browser talks to Base network nodes to read balances and broadcast transactions, and to WalletConnect relays if you connect a wallet by QR code.
- Block explorers (Basescan, Sourcify): only when you click a link to them.
No data is sold, and no data is shared with advertising networks.
Retention
Order records are kept for as long as needed to deliver the order, handle support and disputes, and meet accounting and legal obligations. Server logs are rotated as part of normal operations. On-chain data is permanent by nature.
Your requests
You can ask what order data is held for a wallet address you control, or ask for its deletion where no legal obligation requires keeping it. Send requests to contact@synapcoin.io from an address you can be reached at, with the wallet address concerned.
